Rope Night

This year, we got our arena done and live steers to rope.  This is like a dream come true for my husband!  Our good friends come over 3 nights a week and we rope, laugh and eat lots.  It is by far my most favorite nights of the week.  There is always something going on or someone doing something stupid to make us laugh.  We give each other shit, laugh at our mistakes and most of all, we rope.  We all have little kids and between all of us, there's 10 kids.  It gets a little crazy at times, but we have a little system figured out.  The boys rope while the girls watch kids, then the girls get their turn to rope and ride while the boys watch the kids and work the chutes.  I love every second, no matter how hard it is some nights with a fussy baby:)

I finally had time to get my little man's newborn pics done.  he was pretty easy for the most part, and didn't put up a fuss with all the different poses and me bugging him very second.  i love black and white newborn photos and so thats kind of the style i went for.

My little baby girl turned 3 and she is so grown up to me!  She is darling and I might be a little biased, but I happen to think she is the cutest little lady that I've ever seen!  She is so fun and full of life.  She fills out home with joy and laughter every single day.  I feel so blessed to be her mama.

One of our good friends, Russ and Amanda, had their first little bundle of joy this spring, and asked my to do the honors of her first photo shoot.  She is too cute!  Some of the faces she pulled crack me up!!

Here are some random shots I've taken around our little place.  I love to shoot animals, maybe I get that from my cute Dad who is a wildlife photographer.  They are so fun, and you never know what your going to get because they are so unpredictable.  :)  Some times the simplest shot turns into my absolute favorite pic. (like #3 down)

My brother & sister-in-law had their second girl, and we snapped a few pics of her while she was still new and bendy.  She is so cute and by far my favorite newborn shoot I've done so far. :)

Here are some more of my cute Haddie!  She turned 3 and they were in town for the weekend, so at the last minute, we went out to the classic orchard and snapped a few shots. :)

Aspyn | Newborn

My little niece, Aspyn was born at 29 weeks on the 24th of July and weighed in at a whopping 3 lbs.  She is a miracle baby, and too cute!

My little Cowboy turned the big 5.  I had to get some pics of him and his cute puppy, Boots.  He hates his picture taken, but he was a good sport about this shoot.
